Singer Cassie

I recently met R&B Singer Cassie, online. She's currently promoting her new movie and new album out this month. The movie's called Step Out 2. She acts, dances and sings the theme song in it. When I first sent her a message she was kind of pissed off with me because I asked if it was really her adding everything online including the messages. Here's her reply...

"hey there, if u hav ever heard me state in my interviews.... i do my own sites.. no one does the dirty work for me, although there are people here who pose as me.... this is the official cassie site!!"

Could you blame me for thinking that a celebrity would pay someone for doing this work for them. She did forgive me so I guess she may have understood why I asked that question in the first place. Later I asked her if I could call her just by her first name Cassie. I was also going on like I knew her for ages and here's her reply...

"sure u can... im really glad u asked that question... coz really, i have a separate blog at http://www.cassie.ns4life.com.... and i try to keep all my fans updated nd give information on there... and i use You Tube too lol, just look at all the videos on my profile but i really like to keep my fans informed they're the people who made me sooo its only right to interact with them and keep them in the know... oh and the photo comments; thank you so much that was sweet of u.... the latest with me... my major role in the movie step up 2: the streets ... i don't kno if you've heard of it but it was released on valentine's day... and my album will soon be released in may hopefully the 20th...called the return.... and my single... my first single will air on the radio sometime in march called official girl so... ya take care... thnx for being interested!!"

As I was still chatting I check out the blog and found another website which I asked her about because it had videos of her and her hairstylist Caesar talking about a party they attended with other stars and got this reply....

"oh kool http://www.lovecassie.com is my band website,,, but the other site i just named is official as well... and well that video with caeser was a long time ago.... now i am in new york trying to promote both movie and album... any way... i must go... bye!!"

I know there's a lot of grammer mistakes by her. She wasn't writting a blog but a message to me so forgive her. So now once in a while I get a message out and Cassie replies when she's free. Normally within a day or two. Can you believe that? Like I said before, you never know who you can meet online and who can become a friend. I know it's not like she'll be thinking about me or anything like that but it's nice to know she'll remember me every time I send a message. Also she seems so pleasant and down to earth. Cheers to my new friend, her movie and her new album. May she win a Grammy next year.

Bar advice. Don't prejudge who you don't know. People, yes even celebrities, can surprise you with who they are deep down inside.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

Readers beware. The brilliant, breathtaking conclusion to J.K. Rowling's spellbinding series is not for the faint of heart--such revelations, battles, and betrayals await in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows that no fan will make it to the end unscathed. Luckily, Rowling has prepped loyal readers for the end of her series by doling out increasingly dark and dangerous tales of magic and mystery, shot through with lessons about honor and contempt, love and loss, and right and wrong. Fear not, you will find no spoilers here, to tell the plot would ruin the journey, and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is an odyssey the likes of which Rowling's fans have not yet seen, and are not likely to forget. But we would be remiss if we did not offer one small suggestion before you embark on your final adventure with Harry--bring plenty of tissues.

Bar Advice. Sure this is children's books but don't we all want to go back to our childhood sometimes. Just an escape to a world of magic can make us feel so much better.

Hitch

What can be said about this movie. Those that watched it can relate to all three stars in the movie. The situation and delema of people starting out in a relationship.

Have we done things of this nature? Possibly. Will smith shows what it takes and what needs to be said to "get the girl". Well' he is the star of the movie but in reality we got to see that what he said is sometimes what guys really feel but just don't know how to go about it.

Here the scene is set with a phone call to get a date for the first time. Guys that meet with girls react like little boys sometimes because they are men. Does that make sense? To women it does. To guys it's just a "thing we do".

Movies like Jerry Maguire, whereby Tom Cruise mentioned the words "you complete me" and went all over the world, is practically impossible. Yes, we all know it's a romance movie script but in reality no one can do that by being with another person. The only person that can "complete" someone is that person him or herself. Your partner may make you feel good and such but what "completes" us is ourselves. A spiritual sense within that we can develope with others that we realte to. Think about it.

Bar advice. Movies like this can nice to watch. We all love a happy ending. Who doesn't? How's things with you?

Grandpa's Sex & Drug Advice - LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE

Bar advice. This was just a movie but a good laugh is sometimes needed in our lives to really see and say the things that's on our minds or when we were that age. Some of us still need advice in our lives at our present age as well.

Foamy- Dating advice

Bar advice. I couldn't have said it any better.

Do you need visual romance

This is a pretty amazing movie, that does get graphic in nature and crosses the line in parts of what is art and what is not. Very good story in which Caroline Ducey goes out looking for love when her boyfriend, Sagamore Stevenin refuses to pay any attention to her. Caroline's character finds love in many different forms, men and means. From picking up a lover at a bar (Rocco Siffredi), to finding an older man into S&M, to having a quickie on a set of stairs by a total stranger (which I think is the best segment). A great film from Catherine Breillat.

Bar advice. This is what romance can be like. No boundaries, age or uncertanties. We all have them. We are , after all, human.

Movies and your relationship

Nothing beats a romantic night at home with your partner, snuggled up on a coach watching a romantic movie. Stop at your local video store, or borrow from someone to save money, and find a movie sure to capture the heart of your mate. Here are some of the best all time romantic movies.

Ten Things I Hate About You.

A teenage romantic comedy, 10 Things I Hate About You is a modern day Taming of the Shrew. Set in a modern high school setting. Bianca Stratford is forbidden to date until her older sister, Katarina begins dating. Unfortunately for Bianca, Katarina has no interest in dating, until she finds a not so perfect guy.

When Harry Met Sally.

Can men and women remain friends without the sex part(cough..cough..cough)getting in the way? Sabrina.

Industrious tycoon Linus Larrabee has no room for love in his appointment book. Sabrina Fairchild the chauffeur's daughter has spent her whole life worshipping the wealthy Larrabee family from afar. But when a burgeoning romance between his libertine brother David and Sabrina, jeopardizes Linus' pending business merger, the workaholic CEO clears his calendar to derail the relationship.

Some Kind of Wonderful.

Watts is a young tomboy who has a crush on her best friend, Keith, but her feelings go unrequited as he falls for Amanda, a rich girl with snobby friends. Unfortunately for Keith, Amanda's wealthy ex-boyfriend wants her back and is willing to do anything to get her. This coming of age movie reminds viewers what really matters.

Pretty Woman.

Looking for directions to his Beverly Hills hotel, millionaire corporate raider Edward Lewis crosses paths with Hollywood hooker Vivian Ward and hires her as his "date" for a week. Vivian gets swept into a fantasy realm of room service and boutique shopping on Rodeo Drive, and what starts as a business contract turns into much more. Can the poor prostitute and rich industrialist live happily ever after? This is a must see for women that think it's going to happen to them. Forget it. Even though I personally know a few ladies of the night that have married guys and even had children, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere.

Cutting Edge.

Spoiled but accomplished figure skater Kate Moseley is on her way to the Olympics, and so is egotistical hockey player Doug Dorsey. When an eye injury puts Doug out of hockey, he reluctantly agrees to try figure skating as Kate's partner. The duo gets off to a rough start but learns to perform as a team, and they soon become a force to be reckoned with.

Jerry Maguire.( Urghhh but fantasy for women again.)

In one of the best date-night movies of all time, a sports agent grows a conscience, promptly gets fired and attempts to turn his life around. With one loyal football client. The Princess Bride.

In this enchantingly cracked fairy tale, the beautiful Princess Buttercup and the dashing Wesley must overcome staggering odds to find happiness. Giants, swordsmen, six-fingered counts, murderous princes, Sicilians, pirates, rodents of unusual size and even death can not stop true love from triumphing.

Dirty Dancing.

Expecting the usual ennui that accompanies a summer in the Catskills with her family, 17-year-old Baby Houseman instead finds herself in love. The object of her affection, is none other than the resorts free-spirited dance instructor, Johnny Castle. But Baby's disapproving dad soon steps in to keep Johnny from putting the moves on his artless daughter.

Clueless.

Bored with high school boys, best friends Cher and Dionne instead set their sights on college men. But the meddlesome Cher gets more than she bargained for when she gives a fashion-challenged student a makeover in hopes that her new friend will find love and happiness.

She is All That.

Laney Boggs, a geeky high school student, becomes a challenge, when she spills her books in front of class superstar Zach Siler. Zach's buddies bet that he can not turn Laney from an ugly duckling into a prom queen. With help from his sister, Zach gives Laney a makeover that turns heads and makes him think twice.

Sleepless in Seattle.(The ultimate)

Soul mates who come perilously close to never meeting. Although separated by thousands of miles, rueful widower Sam Baldwin and soon-to-be married Annie Reed connect through a radio call-in show encounter engineered by Sam's son, Jonah. It's a slow and wanting/longing for all natural people. This is the stuff that we all want and still find hard to achieve.

Blog Advice. Women are most attracted to these movies. Purely because they long for some of these things. They want their guy to be like some of these charactrers. Well guy's go check them out because if you want to have a smile on your face daily then this is a lesson to learn well.

Movies and real life

We sometimes feel that we want to have what the movies produce. The beautiful women. Seduction and romance. The chase and finally the link up that's suppose to last forever. Well as movies are only about two hours or so long, real life isn't.

I recently met this gorgeous girl Brenda. She came to the bar one day with colleagues after work. Some of them had been there before but it was her first time. Her eyes are so enchanting. Great smile and lovely long hair. It goes all the way to her ass. After they all left, I thought that I'd never see her again but she did come back with different friends and as we got to talking I got her email address because I wanted to add her into the email list. Well it was more for me personally than anything else but eventually I did email her and got her number. We've been talking almost everyday and she's come over to the bar twice now. We've kissed and when she had too much to drink I got to first base with her. She smells good. Trust me if you think that a women smells good when you hold her you know you really like her.

The thing is that she just got pass a boyfriend and she's not all that eager to get back into one right now. Me on the other hand have been alone for a while now and need a women to be part of my life. Especially when Christmas coming around so soon. It can be the loneliest time in ones life. Anybody would want to be making love than masturbating pointlessly. She's a bit of a character, this girl. Makes me pissed off with her sometimes when we talk. She is straight forward and sometimes too truthful and blunt but that's the unique thing about her. I haven't found anyone like her before.

Too many people are always being what they are not or pretending to live like they are in the movies. Some quote lines just to be able to converse with the other and hope that the reaction will be like the movie they watched. Eventually honesty and sincerity are key to relationships that work. At this moment I don't know where we are going and I hope it gets better between us. One day at a time I guess. Maybe Christmas should be over and reality of the new year will bring us closer a little. I don't know what the heck I'm blabbering about. It's all her fault. She drives me crazy at times but I can't stop thinking about her.One bonus is that we both like the same English Premier League team. Chelsea. Thank goodness we found one thing in common.

Bar advice. Remember opposites sometimes do attract. Get back to you about her in the future. If I don't, well, then there was no future between us.
